- If you are unsure of how to service the hub, take it to a qualified mechanic for service.
- Do not attempt to remove the ratchet ring or disassemble the cassette body.
- After service, and before riding, check the hub to ensure the pawls are engaging properly and there is no play in the system. If the hub is not functioning properly, disassemble then reassemble the hub carefully following the instructions or take it to a qualified mechanic for service.
How to removing the bearing?

1. Remove the non-drive side end cap by hand.

2. Insert a 12mm hex wrench into the non-drive side of the axle. Use a 17mm box wrench to loosen the end cap in a clockwise direction.

3. Unthread and remove the drive side end cap.

4. Remove the cassette body and spacer.

5. Push the axle out of the hub.

6. Remove the bearing from the axle.

7. Reinsert the axle and use it to push out the drive side bearing.

8. Remove the bearing from the axle.
How to Assembly the hub?

1. Press drive side bearing into the hub shell.

2. Slide axle through the hub shell and seat it correctly in the bearing.

3. Press the non-drive side bearing into place.

4. Add a thin layer of grease to the ratchet ring.

5. Check that the cassette body spacer is correctly aligned. If the spacer is offset, use your finger to center the sleeve.

6. Install the spacer then install the cassette body. Ensure it is properly seated against the seal.

7. Thread on the drive side end cap and tighten by hand in a counterclockwise direction.

8. Insert a 12mm hex wrench into the non-drive side of the axle. Use a 17mm box wrench to tighten the end cap in a counterclockwise direction to 8Nm.

9. Place the non-drive side end cap into place by hand. Ensure there is smooth play and the cassette body spins smoothly. If there is play or the cassette body binds, ensure the bearing and cassette body spacer is installed between the drive side bearing.
